FarmToTable.ca is the place to find local farms, farmers markets, CSA programs, u-pick orchards, and farm-to-table restaurants across Canada and the United States. Every listing is reviewed by an editor and, where possible, claimed and maintained by the farm or market itself.
Why we exist
Finding the farmers market near you on Saturday morning, or the CSA programme that delivers in your neighbourhood, or the restaurant down the road that actually sources from local growers — none of that is easy. The information is scattered across hundreds of municipal pages, social media posts, and PDFs from regional food councils. The big review sites optimise for restaurants and hotels, not roadside stands and pick-your-own orchards.
FarmToTable.ca brings that information into one place. We organise it by province, by city, and by listing type, so finding a farm stand within an hour’s drive takes seconds, not afternoons.
What we do differently
Farmers, market managers, and restaurant owners claim their listing and keep the details current. No copy-pasted Wikipedia summaries.
Every new listing and every claim is reviewed by a human before publication. No bot-scraped junk.
Browsing the directory is free and ad-light. Premium tiers exist for farm owners who want extra visibility, but the directory itself is open to everyone.
Who runs it
FarmToTable.ca is independently operated. We are not owned by a publisher, a supermarket chain, or an industry association. We make money from premium farm listings, newsletter sponsorships, and a small affiliate programme — never from selling visitor data.
